More Easter Fun!

Today was our last day of school before our three day weekend Easter break.
Tuesday I blogged about our Sight Word Easter Egg Hunt. Since then, we have been doing more fun Easter themed activities.

We did this fun Easter egg addition activity. This was not my original idea, it was inspired by this pin.

We put six red/yellow double sided chips in a plastic Easter egg (you can use any number of chips), and they shook up the egg and recorded their results. It was a great way to reinforce decomposing numbers that we have been working on lately.





It was a lot of fun and worked really well!

We also did some Easter interactive math notebook pages. We all love our interactive notebooks!
I have started to create themed pages for holidays and they have been great! So far, I have Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter.
